Stainless Steel Mega Typhoon XL DTW 80ft

The Stainless Steel Mega-Typhoon® pump is purpose made for pumping up to 80 feet from ground level. A simple to connection to a 12 volt battery has this pump ready for continuous purging of groundwater wells, whilst a computer engineered bottom debris filter screen is an additional feature to enable operation in harsh conditions with higher turbidity. As is its reputaiton for operation under harsh conditions the SS Mega-Typhoon has been installed in hundreds of remediation sites using pump and treat systems. For long term remediation solar panels can be used as an alternative power source.

An additional feature is the pump provides Low Flow Sample; as low as 10 M/L per minute from any depth when using the Low Flow with Power Booster 1 “LCD” Controller and a Non-Return Check Valve (sold seperately). The Low Flow with Power Booster 1 “LCD” Controller is constructed of a heavy duty steel casing and for added safety this controller is engineered with a reverse polarity protection-circuitry that incorporates as 30 amp fuse which protects both the controller and the user. Water discharge down to 10 M/L per minute from 80 feet or less when used with the low flow control valve can be controlled by the field technician when using this controller. An easy to read LCD display placed on top of the Low Flow with Power Booster 1 “LCD” Controller makes reading and adjusting the discharge rate a simple process.

The main wear out parts of the pump are the motor and seal these have been incorporated in a single replaceable motor module. The field technician can change the SS Mega-Typhoon motor in less than 30 seconds the SS Mega-Typhoon comes complete with one additional motor module. Once the motor has been replaced the pump is essentially new and will have a life span identicalto a new pump.
