The Solinst 107 TLC Meter is the ideal meter for profiling conductivity in open water and wells and for saltwater intrusion, salinity investigations and contamination. Accurate temperature and conductivity readings are displayed on the rotating LCD screen for ease of reading.
The TLC uses a ‘smart’ conductivity sensor with platinum electrodes to measure conductivity between 0 - 80,000 µS/cm providing an accuracy of 5% of reading or 100 µS (whichever is greater). The conductivity sensor can be calibrated using 1413µS, 5000 µS, 12,880 µS, and/or 80,000µS solutions for 1, 2, 3, or 4 point manual conductivity calibrations.
Water level and probe depth measurements are read off the Solinst durable PVDF flat tape, which is accurately laser marked every 1/100 ft or each millimeter. Tape lengths are now available up to 1000 ft (300 m).
When the zero point of the probe enters the water, the light and buzzer are briefly activated. The depth to water and depth of displayed readings are read off the tape. The 9V alkaline battery provides up to 90 hours of use and is housed in an easy access battery drawer.
